VaultVM runs offline once setup is complete. A one-time download stages the files needed during installation.

What happens next

Unzip and open VaultSetup

Extract the download, then open VaultSetup.app. If macOS blocks the app, use Privacy & Security → Open Anyway, or run ./start.sh from the included folder.

Enter your install key

The wizard verifies your key and downloads the remaining setup files (~8 GB) during Step 2. You can resume if interrupted.

Follow the setup wizard

Create your VaultVM, bring Iris online, and complete registration. After setup, VaultVM runs offline on your Mac — no cloud, no subscriptions.
